Small Group Maple Tours
Due to the shift in temperatures our sugaring season has come to a close. This year’s sugaring season lasted just over two weeks. If we were unable to schedule a tour for you this year hopefully we will see you on one of our tours for the 2022 season!
New for 2021 Shepherd’s Corner Ecology Center will be offering small group maple sugaring tours. These tours, which will be two hours in length, have a capacity of 8 participants and will cost $50 per group. Due to the nature of maple season we will begin booking as the season kicks off in late winter 2021.
Learn about maple sugaring from tree sap out the tap, to syrup on your pancakes. Come see our boiling process, and taste our syrup, and more! We kindly ask that all attendees wear masks.
More information will be released on our website and Facebook as maple season approaches. Tours will most likely occur Monday – Friday between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm with at least one Saturday option.
Led by Miranda Land & Dustin McQuade, Staff and Shepherd’s Corner volunteers.
