September Programs at Shepherd’s Corner

Equal Night, Equal Day: September Labyrinth Walk*
Tuesday, September 21st 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Equal Night. Equal Day. Balance. All of us like when our math calculations equal the expected outcome/s. When our accounts are accurately ‘balanced’ aka ‘balance one’s checkbook’ we are satisfied that our funds are in order. Balancing other aspects of our lives is also comforting. Work, play, relaxation, relationships, nutrition, prayer… all need a balance resulting in satisfaction and comfort. The Fall Equinox is a balance of daylight and night. As we walk the labyrinth in between light and dark let us take some time to simply stop, balance standing straight and be mindful of the balance in our lives or the need for balance in our lives.
Will be held at the labyrinth, located on Wengert Road, at the second drive to the right. Please wear comfortable shoes. Everyone is welcome! No previous meditation experience or experience walking labyrinths needed. Registration, which is required, closes three business days prior to the program or when capacity is reached. Praising God with Timbrel and Dance (Psalm 150:4)*
Wednesday, September 22nd 10:00 am to Noon
Suggested donation: $5

A morning of prayer and praise using some of the basics of folk dance along with inspiration from the Psalms to awaken the body as an instrument that praises God in dance. No prior dance experience necessary, just a desire to move and praise God with “timbrel and dance”. All are welcome. This program will likely be held outdoors. Please dress accordingly.

*Visitors when inside our barn or in close proximity to others please wear your mask. Masks are most essential in times when physical distancing is difficult, including indoors or in crowded areas.
