Art Auction: 30th Anniversary

Our online art auction runs through this Saturday, September 24th! Bidding will close at 2:00 pm.

You can view the art being auctioned in person: On Tuesday the 20th or Wednesday the 21st you can make an appointment to view the works of art, between 8:30 am and 3:30 pm. Art can also be seen at our 30th Anniversary/Shepherd’s Fest on Saturday September 24th from 1:00 to 2:00 pm.

Stained glass art, outside on a sunny day. Piece is asymmetrical at the top, where it is wider, towards the pole (which is copper) the glass tapers into a triangle. There are circles of varying shades of blue on a background of irregular quadrilaterals & triangles also of different shades of blue.Inspired by Alice in Wonderland, this painting is of a flower filled area with green grass. The flowers are of different colors and types. At the black center of the painting is a tree with green foliage reminiscent of a willow. The blue sky has a few clouds. 2022 is Shepherd’s Corner Ecology Center’s 30th Anniversary! Shepherd’s Corner was founded in 1992 by three Sisters, Jane Belanger, Camilla Smith, and Loretta Forquer. You can learn a bit more about our founding here.

To celebrate our 30th anniversary Shepherd’s Corner Ecology Center is holding a celebration on September 24th from 1:00 – 3:30 pm. Come enjoy some time at Shepherd’s Corner Ecology Center. Walk our mediation trail & labyrinths, meet some our friends and supporters such as From Scratch Farm, Franklin County Soil & Water Conservation, and more.

Meet, greet, and feed our flock. Maggie, our llama, may even come say ‘Hi’! Explore our meditation trail and take a hayride around to see parts of Shepherd’s Corner you may not have seen before.

View the art that were are auctioning in celebration of Shepherd’s Corner Ecology Center’s 30th anniversary! Artists graciously donated works that relate to nature and the harmony creates. More information about this event, including our online art auction, will be added as the date gets closer!

The auction begins September 9th. It will run until our 30th Anniversary Celebration (Shepherds Fest), September 24th, at 2:00 pm.
