For Everything There is a Season: Labyrinth Walk Thursday, September 19th 7:00 – 8:30 pm   $5 Facilitated by John Seryak, Shepherd’s Corner’s Labyrinth Keeper With the changing of our seasons, we can reflect on the changes in our own personal, family and community lives.  What changes are you experiencing now or have come through? Labyrinth walks are times for quiet reflection. Due to their nature, silent walking is encouraged. Our labyrinth is located on Wengert Road, at the second drive to the right. Please wear comfortable shoes. Everyone is welcome! No previous meditation experience or experience walking labyrinths is required. Foraging Jams and Jellies Friday September 20th $10 /person  1-3 pm Join us on an endeavor to find a positive use for native & invasive plants as we share several different examples of foraged items that can be used to make jelly or jam.  We will learn to identify the plant before we harvest their fruits and learn how to create jelly using them. Please wear closed toed shoes and appropriate clothing for the weather and for being outdoors. Part of this program will take place in the woods on uneven unimproved surfaces. Bring gloves and clippers to help in removing some invasive plants. (Which items we gather from the woods, if any, will depend on how the weather and rate of precipitation impact the forest.)
