25th Anniversary Celebration

In 1990, the Dominican Sisters of St. Mary of the Springs (Columbus, Ohio) challenged themselves to a life-style that honors the graced reality of creation, acknowledges our oneness with creation, and holds us accountable in the use of our resources.  Sisters Jane Belanger, Camilla Smith, and Loretta Forquer responded to that invitation by creating Shepherd’s Corner on land that was owned by the Sisters in Blacklick, Ohio.  Throughout these twenty-five years Shepherd’s Corner has grown into the lived expression of that vision.  It continues today as a Founded Ministry of the Dominican Sisters of Peace.

On September 16th we held a celebration for our 25 years of caring for Land, Life, and Spirit.  During our 25th celebration, individuals were able to visit the animals, walk the meditation trail & labyrinth, and enjoyed a hay ride across our property.

We look forward to a continuation of our mission of caring for and conserving this spot of green in Blacklick, Ohio.
