
Tai Chi movements are slow, gentle, and repetitive. Tai Chi is well known for its ability to improve the well-being and health of persons who practice consistently. It also benefits balance while moving and stationary. Grace will lead a session explaining core moves and principles of Tai Chi, linking them to improved balance.
We will learn a variety of balance movements with variations that you can enjoy at home. (Bring water, wear loose fitting clothing and comfortable shoes. Bring along a yoga mat if you have one. There will be some that can be borrowed if you do not have one.
Persons who are unsteady on their feet or who have challenges with balance should consult with a physician before registering for this class. This class requires periods of standing unassisted.
Your teacher and guide Grace Franklin has been practicing since 2008 with Living Tao lineage teachers Chungliang Al Huang, Cielle Tewksbury and Dan Jones.

This waiver extends and includes the minors in attendance for whom you are responsible.
