Facility Rental

Looking for a place or space to hold a meeting, study group, or program? Why not consider Shepherd’s Corner as a potential location. Our building is available to be rented by groups whose missions are compatible with ours. Priority is given to groups that are renting for purposes that are not for profit.

There are a variety of spaces that groups can use. Rental includes the opportunity to walk the meditation trail and our labyrinths. There is a labyrinth on the floor of the main room, behind the barn between the patio and garden, and one located on the meditation trail.

Facilitated programs can be scheduled to occur during rental. We would enjoy working with you to design a program to fit the needs or intentions of your group. Some of the program offerings include meditative walking, facilitated labyrinth, and meeting the animals. Our rental policies and base pricing can be seen here . Rentals are limited to Monday through Saturday. The main building is handicapped accessible.

Contact Miranda Land at scecologycenter@oppeace.org, or 614-866-4302, to schedule a rental.

At this time, we do not rent the space for weddings, showers, or parties.

“Our group, Ohio Heart of Healing, has been renting the facilities at Shepherd’s Corner Ecology Center for the past 6 years, in the spring and fall, for a Healer’s Retreat. We love coming to this beautiful, nurturing space and attending gently to our own self-renewal…it is a blessing that we treasure. From the beginning, we have been welcomed by the staff, first led by Sister Diane and now Miranda. They are amazing! Over the years, we have met other members of the staff and volunteers, each committed to live the mission of Shepherd’s Corner. Scheduling has never presented any problems, and the facility is lovely and well cared for. The views from inside the barn offer vistas of splendor, from the organic gardens to the fields where the sheep and llama romp about. The grounds, including the meditation trail and the labyrinth, provide walkers with time for stillness and contemplation – it is a wonderful and deeply meaningful experience.

We always look forward to our time at Shepherd’s Corner.  We highly recommend considering this facility for your next retreat or celebration – but you cannot have our weekends  : ).”

This room divider can be pulled to the wall.

  • The main room in our barn is 29’ by 20’. Available for use are eight 6’ folding tables, four small tables, and 40 folding chairs.

  • Tables and chairs can be configured in many ways to suit the purpose of the rental.

“I have hosted several classes at Shepherd’s Corner over the years, and have been very happy there.
The space can accommodate quiet activities like classes and book discussions, and it is large enough for Tai Chi and similar movement classes. The opportunity to be in a wide-open natural setting is a bonus. There is outdoor space for walking meditation and contemplating nature, advantages not often found at other meeting spaces in Columbus. The staff are friendly and flexible. The rental rates are very reasonable, and parking is ample. Shepherd’s Corner offers a lovely energy field … I definitely recommend bringing your group here!”

  • From this view of the patio, you can see our solar panels that are used to power the barn. Our patio features views of our gardens, animals, our sugar shack, and our smaller outdoor labyrinth.
