Self-guided Visiting Hours
Currently our self-guided visiting hours are 10:00 am – 3:00 pm on Mondays. There will also be occasions where we are open other days. Stay tuned to our Facebook and website calendar to find out what the days are! Want to potentially visit on a day that isn’t listed as an open day? You can contact us by calling (614) 866-4302 or by emailing and we can let you know if it is a good day for a visit.

We continually collect shelf stable items for local food pantries. Our collection bin is located just inside the barn’s foyer.

Current visiting guidelines:

  • At arrival, please sign a waiver at the table in the foyer: you can use the iPad or scan the QR to access the waiver. On the table you will also find information about upcoming events and programs, as well as trail maps that you can use. We ask a $2 donation per person.
  • The animals love visitors! Our flock is able to freely come and go; we cannot promise that they will be in the pastures.
  • Pets are not allowed at Shepherd’s Corner as we are attentive to the needs of other visitors as well as the wild flora, fauna, and animals.
  • Visitors under 18, need to be accompanied by an adult, who remains with them while they are visiting Shepherd’s Corner.
  • There may be educational programs occurring on open days. Please be respectful of programs and give them space. We also ask that you not enter any gated or closed-door areas.
  • You are able to explore on the meditation trail, venture to the wetland areas, you can even bring a picnic! Spend time walking our labyrinth. Currently only our St. Catharine labyrinth, located near our barn, is the only labyrinth open for walking.
  • If you are planning to visit with 15 or more people, contact us, so that we can set up a guided visit or field trip for your group.

Facility Rental
We offer use of our building to groups whose mission is compatible with that of Shepherd’s Corner. Rental includes the opportunity to walk the meditation trail and labyrinth. Contact us if you would like more information regarding facility rental. As a note, rentals are limited to Monday through Saturday as we are closed on Sundays.

Group Opportunities
Groups can schedule time for a tour, for a program, or to walk the labyrinth or meditation trails.

Field Trips
We offer educational programs primarily for students which focus on farm life, nature, water, and spirituality. Programming is offered for scout, civic, and homeschool groups as well. Please send an email if you are interested in bringing your group to Shepherd’s Corner Ecology Center on a field trip.

Our Vision:

Shepherd’s Corner Ecology Center is positioning itself to be an Earth-centered leader in the Central Ohio community: teaching environmental education, offering reflective experiences on care of creation, and renewing the land while providing healthy, naturally grown produce.

Our Mission:

Shepherd’s Corner Ecology Center invites others to join with us in experiencing the joys and responsibilities of caring for land, life, and spirit. Inspiring others to become shepherds of creation in their own corners of the world.
